I was just in For a couple of days to help family. Great location! Great restaurant! Rooms are tired and dated, but there are plans to remodel.

Unexpected remodeling early in the am…

I usually always stay here with no problems..this stay just wanted a night away after a long work week…I called at 740 am to see if I could check out at noon and she said yes …but then above me I hear carts rolling, heavy walking and then some drilling noises. I never fell back asleep and ended up leaving at 10..I asked the front desk if they were remodeling and she said yes I guess we should have told you and I said yes that would have been nice and this was my worst experience here which was very unfortunate. If I stay here again in the future I will be sure and ask to stay in a room away from any remodeling. So no bad comments regarding the staff…just annoyed with not getting to sleep in…I look forward to these get aways so was frustrated ….

Our room was okay but I found several areas that were not cleaned. In the bathroom it was clear the counters had not been wiped down, the walls had makeup all over them, the toilet had black stuff on it, and the bathroom door had unknown splatter in several places.

The food was great in the restaurant. The room was clean but old but currently the hotel is doing a remodel. I wasn't happy that when we arrived to check in we were notified that we had to pay $10/day for parking. This wasn't disclosed when we booked and $10/day seems a bit excessive.
