A fantastic stay.
My companion and I recently stayed there for New Years Eve and the extra touches they provided like the complementary wine tasting, chocolate truffles, to the bottle of champagne to ring in the new year were all a very nice bonus. The room was warm and inviting and the king bed was super plush and very comfortable.

Charming and comfortable place
This is a nice and comfortable hotel in a walkable neighborhood. Check-in was quick and efficient. Our room with a kitchenette was cozy but efficiently designed. My only complaint is that only one very small elevator was working, which led to waits. Note: the garage had very narrow ramps that are difficult to maneuver with a large vehicle. Fortunately we didn’t need to drive much during our stay.

The Mark Spencer is my favorite place to stay in downtown Portland with its proximity to Powell Bookstore, Oblation Press, downtown shops, movie theaters and many great restaurants.
