Staff was amazing and accommodating. Room had everything we needed.We appreciated their sincere warmth and welcome. We travel a lot and don't get this consideration everywhere we stay and this stood out to us. Walked to downtown Portland several times without trouble. Food and brewery nearby. Quick ride to train. We'd definitely stay here again! It's always nice when you don't have to worry about the hotel on top of everything else. Everything felt tidy and safe. Can tell the all the staff works hard to make this happen for guests.

The hotel was all in all a good place. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was decent enough. I appreciated the compostable plates, but would suggest to completely reduce one-time-use plates/cups/silverware, and just use regular dishes. The room was directly opposite the elevator, which led to some noise annoyances. Would be better to have the doors fully sealed to not be disturbed. A good 20 minute walk from downtown, three minute drive to the Amtrak station. Everything easily accessible with cars-for-hire services. Good place, especially for the price and compared to other hotels in the city.
