Fantastic Stay at Hotel deLuxe I had an amazing stay at Hotel deLuxe in downtown Portland. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything the city has to offer. The hotel’s old Hollywood decor is stunning, and my room was both luxurious and comfortable. The service was top-notch, with every staff member going out of their way to make my stay memorable. I only had breakfast at Gracie’s, but it was delicious and beautifully presented. If you’re visiting Portland, I highly recommend Hotel deLuxe for a stylish and comfortable stay. Five stars!

Beautiful property at a very affordable price, we were shocked at how inexpensive it was once we saw the hotel. Staff were super friendly, rooms were very clean. The only two things I would comment on are: 1) the $7 bottles of Evian in the room...that is an extortionate price for water that is very cheap to buy in the store. 2) the housekeeping staff need a better system for knowing when guests are checking out. We stayed for 2 nights and on the first day had a knock where they thought we'd checked out and then on the second day, had a knock at 10am again wanting to check if we'd left (checkout is at 12). We weren't too bothered by it, but it is something that could easily be avoided

We really liked this hotel. Great night's sleep: extremely comfortable bed, nice linens, quiet. Enjoyed the elegant vintage style. Only slight drawbacks were parking is a block away and access to the hotel from the street requires stairs. But otherwise terrific.

We loved the hotel, dining options and the bar! The staff was fantastic, however it would have been great to know when we checked in that the parking was not secured and that there was no elevator to get luggage down from the parking garage, carrying all of our luggage down was a workout. On our last day a car window was broken and security was brought in, but we were quite worried the other nights. However, it was clean, a super convenient location, and if we aren’t driving we will stay again.

The hotel itself was great and staff wonderful. Easy walking distance to Providence Park and downtown Portland. Lots of homeless and vandalism in the area, but that’s not the hotel’s fault and that’s found throughout the city.

The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained. The lobby is nice, coffe yea and fresh fruit always available even vegan milk options! Gracie’s restaurant was surprisingly good and had vegan options which I was not expecting! All the staff were absolutely amazing, courteous, helpful and efficient. The rooms are not large but very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The area around the hotel is a bit rough, lots of homeless and substance abuse which is sad but I didn’t feel unsafe. Location is good to get around, transportation options everywhere and walking distance to pearl district and nob hill which have all the amazing restaurants you could ever hope for! For the price absolutely unbeatable! Would choose this hotel again!

I never got the room I booked. The first room came with a broken bedframe, a terrible ratty couch, and a. shower that didn't drain properly. The second room was better, but there was severe structural water damage and everything was "cigarette smoke stain" yellow. Everything just felt old and tired.

The bar/restaurant is excellent. Great ambience and delicious food!! The bathroom in my room was like a beach bathroom with old plumping and it didn’t have enough counter space. My room was tiny. The area around the hotel is very questionable and nothing really good to walk to. But overall, I would stay here again because other than what I mentioned, it was nice and clean. The staff was very nice.
