If you're visiting Portland and have your own transportation, the free, ample parking is wonderful, and the hotel is only a few minutes from downtown. The location is convenient for getting into town as well as to anything you might need to pick up from almost any type of store. There are plenty of shopping and eating options surrounding the hotel. The hotel itself was extremely clean, and we couldn't have been happier with the room. We used the fitness center, enjoyed the complimentary breakfast (so many great options!) and would have used the pool if we had more time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt as if it was a great deal all around.

We stayed on the third floor overlooking the old quarry filled with water. The room was very generous in size measuring approximately 18‘ x 21’. This included a a generous size bathroom with a separate (with door) toilet room. It would be even nicer if you had rods to hang the towels from.

The establishment is fairly new so it looks updated and clean however housekeeping did not refill the lotion, the table tops had sticky stuff on it so obviously makes you wonder if the room was really cleaned or were the beds just made?

Nice hotel but disappointed
We were frustrated that we were told our room would be ready by 3. We gave them a little extra time and arrived around 4:30 but when we arrived we were told our room wouldn’t be ready for another 30 mins. So we had to rearrange our schedule and reservations. Our bed was not comfortable at all as well. The room was very nice but the mattress was terrible. We then got up for breakfast the next morning and everything was gone/empty. There was no syrup, no toppings for waffles, no bagels, eggs or bacon. It was a very very limited options.

The good: staff was friendly and responsive, the free breakfast is a quality one, location and parking convenient. The bad: the house keeping could have been better, including there being nail clippings on the carpet and lots of food crumbs on the desks, the mattresses not very supportive and were quite lumpy.
