The hotel itself was fantastic. All employees from front desk to valet to housekeeping were very pleasant to interact with. The downside to no fault of the hotel was the area in downtown Portland was borderline safe.

Two things that were annoying. Someone brought there dog and it barked whenever the owner left. Very annoying. Stop being your pets on a vacation. The hotel should dedicate areas where people with dogs can stay. Also the shower drainage was bad. The stopper never stayed up. This is a non parkable location. Either find street parking or valet.
