The gentlement who check us in, didn't even bother to let us know which way was our room, he also didn't give us any information about the breakfast. I am used to very welcoming customer service at the Choice hotels, but this one, really disappointed. Also, in their website it saids that they do have a security for their parking lot, well this is not true, and some areas of their parking lot are very dark and with the amount of homeless around that area, makes it very uncomfortable to leave the car there and to go out at night.

Upon arriving at the property I was concerned I made a mistake. Closed nearby restaurants and homeless individuals. Once inside it was wonderful. Clean, cheerful, staff was great. Breakfast great. Other occupants delightful. My stay was excellent. It was festive for Christmas. I have no complaints about the Inn all was perfect. Great internet, tv and clean rooms. They had security features on the door.

The condition of this Country Inn & Suites, North Portland was way below average. My room was on the second floor and adjacent to the elevator. The noises from the plumbing pipes, elevator and hotel guests of the above floor were so disturbing, making me difficult to rest. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bed bug bites. I checked out one day early and moved to another hotel. Front desk staff was professional and noted the issue. They informed me they’d close the room and get an exterminator.

Nataly at the front desk is great. The room was clean and comfortable the only real annoying thing was the doors of the hotel rooms. They slammed so hard shut the walls shook.
