The beds were so comfortable - probably the best I've experienced in years!!! The staff was helpful and efficient. Good price and located near plenty of strip malls. Easy to get groceries and chain food. Breakfast was the standard simple buffet you'd expect (waffles and pancakes machines, scrambled eggs, sausage, tater tots, paper plates). The interior is a little dated but it was clean and well-kept. We were visiting family so we were only at the hotel to sleep. Easy and convenient to get to SE Portland. My only complaint was that there were some sketchy people hanging in the back parking lot at night. I got the vibe that maybe they lived at the hotel. Grilling in the lot at 11pm seemed odd.

Hall ways often smell of pot. Appears hotel accepts government vouchers from those that may temporarily be homeless. One have strong BO and would be in the breakfast area in the morning every day. However, the breakfast had a large variety of food options I really appreciated and the staff was excellent.

Do not trust reviews, this hotel was underwhelming

I want to start with the fact that the staff on site was incredibly friendly, check in was easy and they even got us in a little early. The staff member workong was very homest about the less than desirable location of the first room that she offerwd and was able to place us in another room. The bed in the room was comfortable and the linens appeared to be clean (and we did see fully stripped beds in rooms that were being cleaned, so i am confident in saying that they were clean). This is about where the good part of the experience ends. The lobby/dining area/business center were updated, but the hallways were worn, with missing patches of carpet. The ceilings are low and it felt very dark. The room we stayed in had a hole in the bathroom door, the chair provided in the room had torn fabric on it. The refrigerator smelled terrible, as if someones leftovers had sat in it unattended for days. The hotel has a front and back parking lot. The back parking lot was a better access point to our room, but it had numerous things going on back there that made us extremely uncomfortable. First, when we arrived, a nicer vehicle was sitting back there set on lofts, missing its fuel cell and had a broken window???? Then a group were hanging out in a white pickup truck right outside the back door when we left and when we came back from our off site activity. There were additional shady characters, but i am out of space. I am not sure how this site had an 8 rating I would NOT recommend.

Our stay was average. The mattress was way to soft for us as an older couple. I left a wake up call one morning for 6:30 a.m and didn't get a call until 7:30 a.m. Hotel needs updating.

A property that has seen better days

This hotel is doing its best to be a quality site, but it is in need of some repairs and updating, basic maintenance, and care. Our stay was fine for what we paid for it. It was clean, comfy beds and pillows. Tub drain didn't really drain, scratches and dents on walls throughout, a definite difference between the appearance of the lobby and the hotel once you walked around the corner. Reakfast was fine and as expected. Attendant was present and on top of stocking and cleaning.

Was disappointed. We stay at this place when ever we are in Portland, about 6 times a year. It seems to have gone downhill in the last year. This time we found worn unserviceable furniture and mold on the ceiling in the shower. No maid service at all
