Cute place and wonderful staff. Near the Dunes and restaurants. Nice and quiet. It’s an old building which is what makes it charming but if you’re really particular about modern and new places, it may not be for you.

Hidden gem
It was amazing!! The room so cozy and clean!! We loved this hotel I would highly recommend! Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast but it was decent and we were glad they provided it. The pool was a nice addition.

Hotel only 2 miles from Indiana Dunes NP Visitor Center. Easy access to hiking trails, wonderful beaches, and restaurants. Large sized rooms, indoor pool, and breakfast to start your day. Very affordable and great location.

Romantic weekend
Very cute hotel. Nice view of the woods. Very nice staff. Clean room. The jacuzzi in room was very nice the tip was even big enough for my tall husband to stretch out in. Great location for hiking and shopping. The only thing that could use improvement was the blanket was thin and scratchy. Would stay here again for sure but would bring my own blanket.

Great nights stay.
Hotel is located in trees and exterior is cutesy rustic. Room was modern with sofa, chair, desk, fridge, microwave and king bed. Everything worked and was clean. reception desk was very friendly. Felt very safe staying there. Not what I expected for a reasonably priced hotel between Gary and Michigan City. Would go out of my way to stay there again.

We had a very nice stay at Spring House Inn. Overall the room was comfortable, although our room when we arrived was an Arctic blast . . . the A/C was set at 61 degrees! We had a lovely view into the woods and enjoyed the morning breakfast. Great location to explore the Sand Dunes National Park and nearby towns.

It's a great place if you want to relax and get away without being out of the way. Still close to the expressway where you can pick from so many places to go and enjoy yourself. I would recommend it more for at least a weekend getaway or a couple days stay. We only stayed one night so we'll be back and explore the area. Bring some chairs for the balcony because for some reason they have nowhere to sit. Be prepared for stairs, there's no elevator unfortunately. Also, Uno is on the property but they have crappy hours and should at least be open later for the weekends and probably try to open for lunch. You'd think they'd want to work with the hotel to be more convenient for the guests there, especially since they're on the same property.

A lovely place to stay. Very reasonable cost. Room was superb as was the entire facility. Fitness rom was well equipped and structured. Breakfast was all I could ask for. Very good parking.

Great little overnight stay. This is an older place, but pretty well kept (quaint). Some folks would say dated, but I say it has character. Not far from the national and state park. Pretty close to the city for dinning options. Would stay again.
