Butterfly garden along with lake at the back. Restaurant like cracker barrel within walking distance. Very quiet with pool and hot tub outside fenced in really nice. We enjoyed it.

Wouldn't stay again

The check in went smooth. The place is dated. Our room was quite dark with the old kind of carpet you don't want to walk barefoot on. Our bed mattress was quite broken in. Very soft, so that you toss and turn and end up with a back ache in the morning. There is always coffee available in the lobby. The breakfast area looked clean. Would I stay there again? NO! We checked out the next morning and got another hotel. It wasn't on the cheapest side, I expected better.

clean but with moldy smell

The room is very clean, but I saw a very small cockroach. The room seem to be recently updated with nice drapes and furniture but did not change the carpet, so it has a moldy, musty odor. I suggest to remove the carpet and change to hardwood floor.

We notified this hotel 2 days in advance that we needed to cancel unexpectedly due to illness. They will not budge on their no refund policy. I would expect this if we canceled on the day of our reservation but they had at least a 48 hour notice.
