Stayed two nights whilst visiting Port Arthur. Close to Port Arthur Historical site. Breakfast options were basic but there is an IGA approximately 10-15 minutes drive away to purchase your own breakfast foods. Evening meal was good. Comfortable beds and clean facilities.

Overall I was disappointed with my stay. Checkin was far from seemless and was informed not to drink the water as it is brown and only good for showering. No where does it mention this on web site. Rooms ok, had a great view but bathroom a bit basic. Front door had large gap under it and all though it was not really cold, i feel aircon would struggle to keep you warm in winter. Dinning was ok but basic pub like. If was ever in the area again I would find another location.

We stayed in two different accommodations here... one two-bedroom unit and a single queen (after my husband and his friend left for 3Capes trek) and both were just great. The water in this area around Pt Arthur is not potable city supply, but drawn from the lake, but this was problem at all-- we were supplied with loads of bottled water for drinking, brushing teeth, tea/coffee. The setting is lovely and... history! A character establishment. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant- fresh fish and boeuf bourgignon. Want to return! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Food at the restaurant was good, heating in the room didn’t heat properly, some power points didn’t work, radiator didn’t work and was falling off the wall, curtains were dated and felt dirty.

The room size is good but it is certainly at the budget end of the accomodation scale The heating was poor and the non town water quite disconcerting but they did provide free bottled water to drink I didn't eat there bit the dinning area was quite good. The heater struggled to heat the room all night
