Location!

This hotel is in a fantastic location, we had a lovely room with a huge balcony overlooking the beach. Unfortunately it’s a bit tired. Furnishings are past their best and water pressure in the bathroom is terrible. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

A lovely relaxing stay. The hotel is located right on the beach with an out -door bar area where you can dine and look over the sea. My Room was very spacious and clean, the staff very friendly and atmoshere was relaxed. Brilliant breakfast, ! looking forward to returning and trying some water sports.

Sunny Sandbanks

Location is fantastic,staff are amazing,hotel had so much history.Needs a bit of updating now as it feels tired.It would be nice if they renovated it similar to the original style to keep it’s history alive.Bar/sunbed area could be cleaner.Any random can use them as they can just walk up steps from beach.Needs some form of security measures to enable use for guests only.Food was amazing and well presented

The superb Sandbank's Hotel

We had a lovely couple of days at the Sandbanks Hotel. The room was a little tired but we had a beautiful view overlooking the seafront . The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything that we needed. Breakfast was really nice and plentiful with excellent choices. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Fantastic location

Fantastic location, prefect for the beach. Hotel staff where very friendly and service was good. Unfortunately the bedrooms could do with a bit of TLC

The hotel is in need of major renovation! Damp smell and leaks everywhere, old unclean worn out furniture. I paid 220 for one night, was not worth it at all. I can’t understand how expedia can give 8 out of ten! Definitely not a four star. Staff were very nice. Overall very disappointed with our stay.

Very reasonable rate for a room for one night; won’t fault the room or the bed, the bathroom was clean but very old, although the shower was better than I expected to be fair. Breakfast though - let the place down. No catering staff on view, fried eggs were probably over an hour old, the sausages were cooked well but were so solid they must have come straight from the freezer, the bacon, cooked toms and mushrooms saved an on the spot complaint because my “fresh” slice of bread had mould on it!

The food and dining area was good. The rooms and general areas are dated and smelled musty. The room was cold and we had to request an electric heater. No way was the heating going to be turned on even though all areas except diningg area was damp and cold.
