Only criticism is 2 teabags and no coffee? I know we could have asked for more but didn’t notice until we were ready for bed … so no early morning cuppa . Strangely 6 pkts of sugar though!

Very impressed that I could change a booking date due to an error, but it took time over the phone with Expedia. Desk staff very helpful and friendly. Disappointed that car parking was £8.50 for 24 hours where it is free parking in other local hotels. This was not highlighted in the booking or website. Shame as everything else was fine. No poached eggs option for breakfast which was otherwise good.

Overall, the experience was good, particularly the breakfast. However we found a difference in this hotel from previous visits to other Holiday Express Inns. The bedroom had two beds, but we found the amount of storage space minimal for two people ie. hanging space, shelves were totally inadequate and there were no drawers, no table/desk top. Also only one chair. If we had been staying there for more than 2 nights we would really have struggled.

Overall a comfortable stay. Aishwarya and few Asian colleagues were really helpful and kind enough to answer all the questions. The breakfast was fantastic. Coffee machine and the bread toaster was the highlight. I will definitely go back to stay.

Great hotel location ideal for lighthouse in poole

Hotel was good value for money very clean and has a brand new feel about it staff were very friendly and helpful room was clean and bed very comfortable breakfast was plentiful and of very good quality and most importantly for me the coffee was great stayed here before for shows at the lighthouse just 5 mins walk over the road will be staying again for any future shows
