The property location is excellent. Within a walking distance is a beautiful vineyard, a great place for photos. There were a lot of kangaroos running around. The property itself is old and in need of much more care. The cleanliness was not so good, bathroom sink’s stained and not cleaned properly. Bathroom has a shower over a bathtub and I don’t know why they only do the glass panel half way so when I took shower water went out a lot and wet the floor. To make up for that shortcoming, there’re bathroom amenities and I like the shower gel which smells so good. The staffs were nice and helpful including the receptionist and the restaurant attendant. The breakfast was delicious even though there’re only 3 dishes in the menu so not many choices. Better bring some food along if you stay there on Mon and Tuesday since all restaurants there are close on those days. There’re neither fork nor spoon, only some coffee cups and glass, though you can find some coffee and tea sachets. I stayed only one night so there’s no big deal!

Woeful!!!

Room was supposed to be an upgraded room everything was dusty, sheets on bed only came to you waist Mosquitoes and spiders in the room. Mattress's old and sinking pillows like bricks!! Fridge was turned off so complimentary milk was not safe to use. No bath mat first night and worst of all rooms are NOT services just clean towels.For what they charge disgraceful!!

I am a return client and love this venue. Accommodation as requested, check-in and out was easy and friendly, parking close to unit and free, excellent facilities for conferences, weddings, family groups, birthdays, reunions or great for couples. Catered for Gluten free meals a big plus for me. Overall great experience and I shall return.

A very pleasant outlook across vineyards to mountain range. Nice open grounds amongst the trees for a stroll. Enjoyed both the dining and breakfast facilities - very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are adequate but I found the pillows very hard. Maintenance is questionable with faulty light globes in the bedside lights.

Room was very basic and walls so thin we could hear our neighbour yawn (and talk, tv etc). Overall looked very run down and has outdated interior. Great location but definitely not worth the room charge of $450 per night. I do appreciate everything is inflated in the Hunter, but still felt we were stung.

Unfortunately, our recent stay was extremely disappointing on multiple fronts. Upon our 9pm arrival, we were greeted by a room infested with mosquitoes. While we did locate a can of fly spray in the cupboard which somewhat addressed the immediate problem, the spray odor made it nearly impossible to sleep comfortably. The accommodations themselves left much to be desired. The room appeared severely outdated, while the bathroom facilities were noticeably unclean. The mattress was uncomfortably firm, resulting in back pain by morning. (Lucky we only had for two nights) We had hoped that perhaps the view might compensate for these shortcomings, but instead found ourselves overlooking stagnant water and unmaintained landscaping. The property overall shows significant signs of neglect. Given the price point, this establishment simply fails to deliver acceptable value. I cannot in good conscience recommend this location to other travelers seeking comfortable accommodations.
