Only stayed one night for work. Had a four poster bed and jacuzzi bath absolutely lovely, design is old but how it should be very lovely, usb ports plenty of plugs, WiFi work. Only complaint is I waited an hour for room service and food was luke warm.

Very comfortable hotel
Great hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Room was huge and bed was super comfortable. It is a Victorian listed building so some of the features eg sash windows weren’t ideal but part of the character of the building.

Hotel staff were very helpful when I needed to cut short my stay due to a problem with the rail company (advising us not to travel on the day I was due to return). The hotel reception staff did everything from their end (I was booked through third party) The room itself was fine although the wooden furniture could probably do with a refresh. Bed itself was comfortable. The bathroom is very good having a bath and shower and lots of room. Due to the short stay, I didn't get to use the swimming pool. I was looking forward to using it. The breakfast was nice. I would definitely return to this hotel but will probably drive next time, unless the return date is anything but a Sunday.

Bed was extremely comfortable, room overall was lovely and rustic. jetted tub was very impressive but needed some assistance in getting it to work. building itself was very nice, slightly narrow hallways and layout was a tad confusing. staff were incredible and a lovely stay

The property is locally placed to the Barbican area where there are lots of bars and eateries. It's around a good 5 minute walk. Parking is limited at the hotel and spaces are not the widest

Fabulous room, clean and comfortable. The worst meal ever in Steves Brasserie, the (lone) waiter redeemed it by being lovely and replacing my dinner with something edible. Overall I thought the hotel was excellent value, all the staff were professional and personable. Probably would use a different restaurant, but recommend the hotel.

Was disappointed that wasn't offered an upgrade when Hotels.Com Gold Member says this should be offered when available ???? Also - my Company Credit card wasn't working (Hotel Room had already been paid in full) and the receptionist tried my card and when it failed - stated that I couldn't stay the night unless I produced another card !! Had to use a card i never use luckily I had it with me Probably wont be staying again

I booked two rooms for one night so that my sister and I could see Squeeze in concert at the Plymouth Pavilions. The venue is right across from the hotel, just a quick walk through the car park so its location could not be bettered. It is also very walkable to Drakes Circus. For the price we paid, with breakfast, we will certainly use this hotel again. No complaints other than a lot of the car parking spaces are very narrow. Other than that we were very happy.
