Overall the stay was good, however, the toilet in my room had a constant sewer smell. I asked for a twin room but got a double and a sofa bed. Not ideal for me. The breakfast was ok but kept having to wait for more food to be served

Staff were all polite and helpful, basic expectations of a hotel were all met. The hotel would really benefit from improved management. Many small details not right, kettle not working, shower head doesn't stay in one place. Felt like it was understaffed though it was full and the staff there looked to be trying hard. Restaurant was a bit of a disaster. Never full from the point of view of all the tables being full but either front of house staff or kitchen could not keep up. Wait times were crazy. Food was average quality and average price but it's a chain hotel restaurant so that's what I'd expect. But people who choose to eat in a place like that generally just want food reasonably quickly and get on with other things.

Hum from air conditioning takes some getting used to especially if you come from a rural area. No where to hang bath robe in bathroom/shower room. Breakfast at 09-30, plenty of choice but fried section dried up and down to the dregs.

Wish there were more of these in the UK!
This place is superb at such reasonable rates. Normally standards drop the cheaper the rate but not here, the opposite is true. The only issue I can find is sadly there only three of them in the country which is a shame as they really are good.
