Overall, a pretty good but dated hotel. Excellent location for our needs. I was not happy with the service. Some are controllable by front staff, others are more issues with the company .. Directions for parking the hotel desk neglected to tell us that you would have to drive through a construction site to access.. we reported a faulty toilet, which was not addressed, and when we asked about it on leaving, they admitted that they did not have on-site janitor during the weekend. I asked if they could comp the parking, but because I already paid, they could not. If someone reads this, then I would appreciate an 18-pound refund on parking as a token of goodwill. if no response, I would stay somewhere else next time.

My room didn't match the imagine online or anywhere near to that standard. The double bed was small and unfortunately uncomfortable. Pillows were too soft for me personally. Breakfast was lovely and staff were lovely

I was really surprised at the twin room I.booked for my grandson and I, it was excellent value for money. Perfect for our one night stay. Plenty of room comfortable beds, nice big TV, not we watched much of it. The breakfast was also very good, with self service full English, fruit, pastries, meats etc. The only downside was the car park. During our visit there is major construction work taking place in the area. I was given instruction, it took me 4 times round till I figure out I needed to.go down what was basically a dirt track... and no way look like any kind of road. But overall, apart from i would recommend the hotel, certainly for a short stay.
