Do NOT stay in room 3122 unless you enjoy the CONSTANT SEWER SMELL. Do NOT stay in room 3126 unless you don’t need a toilet seat and enjoy SEWER smell and don’t stay in 3306 if you are over 4 ft tall and would like to shower where the shower head works for your height. Food was less than mediocre, and it’s not of IF it’s WHEN you get food poisoning. The lack of compatibility for US dollars is unbelievable for a tourist spot. The employees in the shop are very rude. I do NOT recommend this resort and will NOT stay again. In all my years coming to Mexico I have never dealt with them not accepting IS money with small tears, maybe something new? All that has to be done is keep circulating it, as much American money that comes in, it’s an easy thing.

Preface this review with the fact that as a family we travel a lot to many places around the world and are not overly picky. Start off with the good. The beach is beautiful and the overall staff is good, food selection is good and varied. The cafe at the front is great. Our issues started at check in. The person who checked us in didn't explain much to us including the download of the app to access the schedule of activities and restaurant reservations. We only found out about the app from other guests. The app itself is not easy to navigate. Once we got to our rooms after checking in (2 rooms) 1 of the rooms was fully under construction. We were reassigned a room for the night and told to go back to the front desk next day to change to a new room for the rest of the week. No compensation offered for the inconvenience. The water temperature for the showers is lukewarm and you're lucky if you get hot water. The only place you can get AC is in your room, the a la carte restaurants or the sports bar. Everywhere else is open air. Including the buffet dining area. It's hot. And we were there off-season so I can imagine how hot it gets during peak season. The wifi is spotty at best throughout the resort. We had an infestation of ants in our room. Overall it was ok. The beach is fantastic but any hotel you get along this strip will give you the same beach. Would not come back to this hotel.

I had a great experience. Resort is for family or partner to relax. Is very quiet and clean. Only problem i had was bathroom issue. But reported it and it was fixed right away.
