The property seems to be average. We never had a problem with the room service. She always had our room very clean. The ice machine worked one day while we were there. They weren’t able to get it fixed after that. The beach is beautiful and they do an awesome job with keeping it clean. The servers were awesome in bring drinks down to the beach even without asking. We found the food at the Yucatán was better. I’m not saying the food was bad but average. They put on a party at the Tequila which was a lot of fun. I only wish I would’ve brought white clothing to where to it. Overall our vacation was very relaxing and enjoyed our time there.

The service is generally pretty good. The beach is beautiful. The room is very nice and clean. The food was not great. Food was reheated and ended up getting very dry.

This is one of the cheapest Riu properties in Playacar. We love the location and the staff, the food is really bad and the alcohols are cheap but we don’t come here to eat… The beach is nice! Staying here you can also access Riu Tequila that has a fun 24h sports bar and a night club that is open from 11pm-3am. We love the walkability of this property. It only takes about 30 min to walk to downtown Playa…

We enjoyed our stay. Our room didn’t have any sort of balcony. That was disappointing. Burgers by the pool weren’t that great but all the other food was excellent! We had a great time.

It was a great property except for the overall entertainment team. No music at the pool or fun classes At all. It was mostly quiet. If you want to relax and have relaxing quiet time this is absolutely the place. Great facility and food pretty decent as well!
