The food, staff and overall experience was excellent. The hotel is very family oriented and our kids enjoyed the waterpark, pools and kids club. We found the rooms could use a bit of updating and some hallway noise was audible in our room. We found the pool lounger saving by the other guests annoying and wished that rule was enforced. However, these were minor issues and our stay was excellent overall.

Beautiful architecture incorporating real native vegetation everywhere. Feels like paradise. There’s an absolutely massive koi pond with walkable paths and bridges that are a highlight for my 4 year old. She doesn’t want to leave! Also guests are all very respectful I assume due to the * rating of this resort. For sure any skepticism we had about Mexico and wild Cancun destinations with a child where put to rest at this resort. From arrival to departure we felt safe, welcomed, serviced and most importantly as if we transported into paradise.

Great property and really good service and the food in all of the restaurants is really terrific. We had the family concierge service add-on which facilitated us being able to eat at every one of the a la carte restaurants that we wanted to over our stay. Not sure if this would have been possible without the family concierge being able to get these openings. All of the restaurants were fully booked several days in advance (especially over prime 6:00-8:00) dining hours. Getting good spots at the pools is an early-morning competition with folks putting towels out at 5:00 and 6:00am and leaving them all day. I didn’t love this.

A great hotel, we would go back. If you are looking for peace and quiet don’t go there, it’s a family destination. The biggest downside is the food… appart from the restaurant you can reserve the food at the buffet isn’t great. We had a Concierge and it was great

The extent of sargassum seaweed on the beaches and smell was disgusting. Unfortunately it ruined the whole beach experience :(

Family property exterior was not well maintained Needs touch up paint and staining wood pergolas. We paid for concierge service and it definitely was not worth ir. Check in was very slow. Correspondence before and during was poor. Had to get up at 5;00 to reserve lounge chairs in the shade by children’s pool. Good was very good. The kids slides pool was way too deep and dangerous for young kids. Also it was very very cold. Picked this property for the slides but spent about an hour there out of 5 days.

Everything was close proximity. The beds were comfy and the room was clean (other than under couch). The ala carte restaraunts were amazing and the grounds kept beautiful. The couch had a big rip in it and was stained. The beach has no drink or food service. The kids club has times where they have to swim and this is done with you on a couple days - so not really a kids club at that time. The buffe food was horrible. And a couple times at the restaurants food was undercooked. The room had little things not working, door locks, the rain shower was hard to turn on. etc. And it ws really hard to get information on how things worked, timing, where to go, etc.

The staff especially Rene, Salvador and Antonio (all at the Family Concierge section) gave us excellent service and made our stay so enjoyable. It is a large facility so one most be fairly mobile to get around the property.

Family friendly and easy to get to where you want to go. Loved that there were pools with different depths availble. Seating at the Aquazone can be challenging and overstimulating at times. Limited chairs and shade at the beach. We weren't able to get early reservation times but luckily the buffet had lots of variety. Would definitely go back if these issues were resolved.
