I demand a REFUND - my booking, in writing, states I get a free excursion for 2 - and the hotel did NOT honor this. They said they don't even offer this and told me Orbitz isn't an "agency" that they use. However, they had my reservation through Orbitz, so it is clearly a site they use for bookings. But they said I had to take it up with Orbitz because Orbitz promised the excursion and not them. So I demand a refund for my stay. Who do I call at Orbitz? And if you are booking through Orbitz - be careful if they say you are getting a free excursion. The only reason I booked the room I booked - was because it said I would get a free excursion. No excursion? Then the room is NO WAY NEAR worth the cost.

The staff was amazing. Luis the bartender and Grisey the server were fantastic every day. The staff at the property work hard to keep the rooms cleaned and stocked and the resort was always clean. My kids loved the little water park. The food was also amazing and exceeded my expectations. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice property nestled right on the beach. Booming kids club and kid’s activities. Unfortunately, very inconsistent service from wait staff at the beach, in restaurants, and all service providers. The property was not nearly as clean as other properties we have stayed at and it seemed to need a refresh. That said, most of the restaurants were delicious with the exception of the buffet. We had fun but not a 5 star experience.

This is my second time with my family at Paradisus playa del Carmen and I absolutely love it. My family and I had an amazing time the food and entertainment were great. Very clean!! The drinks were always on point. The staff was amazing my family concierge Fabian was awesome very kind and thoughtful always concerned with mine and my kids needs. The service by the family concierge pool was outstanding as busy as Salvador was with all the other patrons he still made a point to serve with a smile and give us the most outstanding service as goes for the bartenders in the family pool bar both Luis’s were amazing. Honorary mention to other great servers with outstanding service Amaya, yoshio, Moses, and Erik I cannot wait to go back. Thank you for another great stay!!

I travelled with my wife and kids (13, 11, 7). The resort was great with kids - shows every night were really good quality. There were good pool activities and other events and entertainment as well. Everything at the resort is kept super clean, inside and out. Our room was very spacious, the layout is very convenient, the water pressure and shower, and the lighting is very good. The balcony is large, ours had a jacuzzi which the kids loved. The restaurants were great, especially the buffet at breakfast and dinner, the Japanese hibachi and the Mexican food night. We got the concierge service and Jonathan was awesome. The beach was beautiful, the seaweed was not an issue at this time (we went August 18-24, 2024). We highly recommended this resort for families.
