Property is gorgeous is one of the most beautiful hotel I have visited, some areas are in need of up keeping, the food is horrible, we had reservations for all top restaurants, after finning at “La Hacienda and “El Steakhouse” we gave up and decided to eat at the buffet, for a hotel of the caliber this is not acceptable.

This resort has its pros and cons. For the pros: the property is beautiful! The views are amazing, the beach is crystal clear. Their activities like Zumba by the beach is entertaining. The staffing in the bars and restaurants are super friendly. My man Hugo makes a mean omelet every morning! It’s a 5min walk to the Xcaret park and you can go in and out of the park as much as you want. Now for the cons … unfortunately our first impression of the resort was not that good giving the staff that greets you up front are not the nicest. The check in was confusing they didn’t explain where anything was or what kind of amenities we could use with the package we booked ( we kinda had to figure it out through trail and error and a lot of walking). Also the food was very disappointing, I wish Pacos Tacos would open all day cause that was the only good food we could find. We had two restaurant reservations, the oriental one and Mexican one. The oriental restaurant was horrible but la hacienda was wonderful. All in all, the resort needs work but has a lot of good features, and we had a great time.

The place is very pretty. I very much enjoyed listening to Marlon- lobby piano artist, He was Fantastic and made all efforts to please guest song requests. I would like to name a few hotel workers who provided excellent customer service; Camila, Oriana- guest services, Miguel- Buffett, Moses- Transportation around property, and Patricia- Spa. Overall I had a nice experience!

Made reservation for deluxe room king size on Expedia. After Expedia ran card, confirmation stated room was a double bed/king. Called property and mentioned making reservation for king size bed and that I needed to ensure we would have a king bed. They assured me a note was being made on file for my request for a king. At a later date, I called for info about transportation from/to airport, and they confirmed once again that they showed room reserved was a deluxe plus xcaret unlimited with king bed. At arrival, I was given a double bed room and told that they did not have king. If they did the next day, they could move us. Still did not happen. For a couple traveling for celebration, I would have selected a different hotel had I known that they would not provide the room reserved and paid for on Expedia. We spent a very uncomfortable night trying to fit in the bed. Finally were moved the next night, but the included bottle of wine and a basket in the 'deluxe' package was never delivered to the room. Food: For an all inclusive hotel food was not good at all; I eat better at home. Only restaurants with a better quality and choice were specialty ones requiring advance reservations. Also, for a 7day stay, one is allotted 4 reservations per person, so the other 3 days we ate very poorly and to make it worse got sick to our stomach.

we came in a group of 19pax, we specifically requested to stay in the same building/hotel room but we end up in 3 different building. However, at the end we were transferred since p our A/C is not working but we need to come back and forth to the lobby hotel.Also when we were transferred, we got a de luxe room instead of the suite.
