I travel to Playa del Carmen frequently, but this was my first time staying at this hotel. Expedia had great reviews, but after booking, I saw Google had questionable reviews, so that was concerning, but I didn’t have any issues. My stay was great! Front desk staff was very kind & helpful, & my room was comfortably equipped with all I needed. WiFi worked excellently, as I was able to work remotely & stream tv apps with no issues. The only thing I want to point out that differs from the listing is Expedia says that the rooms have down comforters, but mine did not. The bed only had sheets, which I know is common for the area, & many other hotels do the same. The rooftop pool was well kept & very nice. Neighborhood was nice. There is a nice cafe around the corner that had excellent food & coffee, there is a corner store across the street, & Walmart is the next street over. Palacio Municipal is about a block away, & they do have events at night that can get a bit noisy, but none interrupted my sleep, & I’m a light sleeper. I feel that I will return again on future trips!

The staff was excellent. The water was out in the middle of the night twice with no warning and we couldnt take a shower. The room was HOT upon entry and it took a while to cool down. Forget parking, these spaces were for more like a fiat.

Overall it is a good place to stay, and I would return. There were a couple of issues with the cleanliness of the bedding at first, however this wqs dealt with appropriately. The staff were responsive. From then on, cleanliness and amenities were as to be expected. Also, good sound proofing.

Very nice hotel

The facility is in freshly remodeled condition. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is very good for dining out, going to the beach, or shopping. The kitchenette was well stocked.

It's a lovely property. Quiet and close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. Couple things that are not a big deal but noticeable, no washcloths, detergent, or dishwashing liquid, things like that. Other than that, loved the unit. It was spacious, clean and had everything else we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Nice pleasant relaxing stay

As usual my stay was very good. I like being able to walk for groceries and if I just need water there is a convenient store across the street. I enjoy cooking my own meals so having the kitchenette is great although a larger fridge would be nice to have ice. I like sitting on the balcony reading and the pool on the roof is very nice. The shower usually has warm/hot water however the pressure is low so for some it may be an issue. The only con would be during Carnival usually some time in February (Google for dates 2026) it is very noisy as the government plaza is nearby. This year they had famous Spanish bands playing for a week and you could hear the music in your room as if you were right there in an outdoor stadium. The music went until 2-3 am so during this time if you are an early to bed person this could be an issue for you.
