Great vacation. Kids club was disappointing. I wish they broke it into a different age appropriate category instead of 4-12 year olds. We stayed here because of the club but our kids 9,9&11 felt it was way too babyish. Maybe have a 4-8 year olds and a 8-12 year olds ??

Wonderful location. Well maintained. The rooms a bit dated. Wouldn't hurt some major updates. I wasn't aware it is a "smoking free" resort beforehand. It's a hussle to find a spot to enjoy a cigar.

The grounds are beautiful. Lots of animals walking around. The food was OKAY. It was not great. A lot of times the buffet would run out of foods. The first room we were in smelled musty. They sent someone and they sprayed disinfectant. That didn’t fix the problem and I requested a new room. They did give me a new room. We did have a couple issues with the bell hop or maintenance not showing up as requested. Some of the staff are very nice, others quite rude. Overall, I’m disappointed with this resort and will not return.

Pretty good resort, few things didn’t liked: - green environment, you cannot smoke so be aware; - the food is ok but I never seen some barbecue meat, only cooked food which isn’t my type; - the “à la carte” restaurants are ok but I was refused into one of these as I was wearing a no sleeve shirt but instead I saw people inside with flip flops; Things I liked: - the service is excellent;

The hotel is advertised as 100 smoke free. If you do not like being around smokers ... look elsewhere. People smoking in as well as at pool, at shows, at lobby bar, just walking down bath to the beach and at the beach. Real nice place but smokers seem to do what they want

Grounds are lovely and well kept. Enjoyed walking around the property. Enjoyed the pools and beach. Buildings & rooms need maintenance and cleaning. Animals on property can be enjoyable to see. Coati population. Is out of control and a nuisance. Coatis are very aggressive attacking people for food and breaking into hotel rooms to steal coffee packs etc. Ruins the experience because you don’t want to use your screen door on your room or eat your taco outdoors because you’ll have families of them jumping at your plate and climbing your legs to get at your food. There is also Coati scat in stairwells and on the decks regularly taking away from enjoying the property. Food was decent in a la cart restaurants. Buffets were hit & miss somedays but usually something to eat. Drinks were a bit concerning. Personally found the alcohol to mix ratio unenjoyable. Bar tenders often added double & triple the alcohol despite asking for no more than a single. They seemed to think it was funny. It was just a wasted drink after that because it was too strong to drink. This seemed to be a common theme as I noticed several customers who were over served and then behaviours became unsafe due to the intoxicated state of them. Witnessed drunken fights, obnoxious yelling and young women having to fend off unwanted attention. Staff only intervened on fights.

Resort is amazing and staff is very friendly. The shows and nightlife were good! Overall the resort was very clean and maintained, my only complaint would be that there were a lot of raccoon type animals that would go into bags that were left poolside or by the beach.
