Great Average Hotel
Hotel was awesome. Great service at check-in, room was normal, all of the workers were friendly. Easy access to the casino, which was fun too. Breakfast was OK. Could've had better eggs (dry and fake), no sausage...only undercooked bacon. Room was a little pricey but overall the bed was comfy and everything in the room worked so no complaints. It was a perfectly normal hotel with friendly employees. Nothing said "WOW" but nothing said "UGH" either.

This stay was amazing! We were here for parents’ weekend at Pitt and were so thrilled with our experience at The Landing Hotel. Everything was so clean, beautifully appointed and comfortable. The huge windows with a view of Acrisure Stadium was a bonus. The front desk was so personable and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

Overall good experience for first time guest. Parking via the free valet was easy. Check In was quick and staff courteous. They always had plenty of staff at check in desk so very little wait there. Room was very nice and clean, loved the robe in the closet. River view was calming, might have enjoyed the city view more, the occasional train on opposite side of the river was not overly loud. Wide selection of TV channels, tv seemed small for the decor of room. Got a great room rate on the app so very pleased with that. Made use of the river trail for a morning walk, no concerns with safety noted. Stayed on a Tuesday night so take note that some of the casino restaurants are not open, failed to notice that when preparing a dinner choice. Hotel breakfast was standard fare for budget friendly place- pre-made egg omelet, turkey sausage, French toast, tater tots, oatmeal etc. The hot items didn’t maintain their freshness well on the steam table. Coffee was good though. Fitness center had a variety of equipment. One elevator operational was a bit slow, but once I found the stairs, never used again, benefit of being only on second floor. Had some noisy upstairs neighbors until 0200, seems I could hear some via the a/c ductwork, interesting. But as I had planned to watch election coverage late into the night was not a big deal. Overall, had a great first visit.

Nicely updated and clean property. Spacious room. Once you get past the stale cigarette smoke odor emanating from the casino next door, you really don’t even know you’re at a casino. Convenient access to the major sports venues nearby and free light rail public transportation to downtown and Fort Point. Our room rate included parking, which was nice. A simple breakfast was included too.
