My family and I stayed over the weekend to attend a Pirates game and PNC park was a short walk away, market square is a block away with plenty of dining options, you can use their gym which is great, parking is accessible via the building elevator, great game room and both gentlemen at the front desk were super nice and helpful!

This property should not be listed as a hotel. There is NO room service provided during the stay - we were there for a full business week. Parking is an extra fee. Staff was RUDE. We had no hand soap in our suite at all and one half of one roll of toilet paper. There were used Qtips on the floor in the bedroom. All made me wonder how well the place had been cleaned although it appeared clean enough. Biggest complaints were no service for the exorbitant cost, common spaces all closed at 9PM, no property orientation or binder at check-in, no explanation for check out and the overall demeanor of the staff. Many areas on the property also smelled like pot, which is strange because it is a no-smoking property. Penthouse floor was exceptionally offensive in that regard. Pot is not legal in Pennsylvania. Best plus was the access to the gym, but they offered very few classes while we were in town. Good location, just off market square and easy access to other areas of the city. Overall, NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

This property is in a great location! Walkable to many highlights of Pittsburgh including PNC Park for the baseball game and Acrisure Stadium for the football game if you are there for sports. Also close to the Dequesne Incline, Point State Park fountain, and Market Square for land marks. If you are a foodie you are also close to Pamela's Dinner, Primanti Bros and so much more. As for the room it was super spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. Would highly recommend this location for a short or long stay.

Excellence at Etage
I was looking for a hotel in Pittsburgh. Many in the downtown area were super expensive. I discovered Etage and couldn't have gotten a better place to stay. The price was lower than several hotels, it was in a great location and we received basically a whole apartment. The service from staff was wonderful. The rooftop was fun with a great view. The workout room next door was crazy amazing. We loved our visit to Pittsburgh and if we come back, we will be sure to stay at Etage again.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment room. We had great view of the river, PNC park, & market square. Only thing is we could hear everything happening in the room above us and the windows were far from noise cancelling. It was louder at night with outside noise than in NYC.

The suites are large and fully equipped with refrigerator and stove. Great views of downtown Pittsburgh. Walls were thin and we could hear noise from nearby rooms. Hotel staff were good about helping enforce the quiet time, but apparently the hotel is used for parties on the weekends. Will probably stay there again.

The property was beautiful. The big problem is the staff. I called the day before to I ask if we could get early check-in because we were coming out of state for a concert and had to get ready. The lady I talked to on the phone was very nice and said our room wasn’t booked the day before so we would be able to get early check-in whatever we wanted. When we got there, the guy working said that they’re not allowed to do early check-in and they are employee didn’t say that instead of accommodating us He told us to get ready for our concert in our car. I asked him if there was a restroom I could use and he said they didn’t have restrooms. I would have to go find one somewhere else then right in front of our face he let someone else get their room two hours early going to the concert and when we got back, it was 11 PM the next morning we went on the rooftop terrace, and it smelled like human pee, I almost threw up from the stench that was coming from the bushes. I don’t know if people let their dogs pee up there, but it smelled more like a drunk person was up there peeing. It is a beautiful room and it’s luxury, but I would never book it again after our experience.
