I prepaid a reservation to stay for a busy weekend in Pittsburgh (college parents weekend) - I did an online check in for 11pm which should have been a CLEAR indication that I planned to stay there (did I mention I prepaid too?) - I got an email from Hyatt saying " Your room is ready!" - upon check in at the hotel i was informed that my room was given to someone else. The hotel arranged another room at another (lesser) hotel that was 1.5miles away. Terrible experience! I will not stay at Hyatt Hotels of any kind going forward.

Our stay is fine. But We reserved a king bed room. On your hotel/Expedia web site, the description of the king room has more than 500 sft. But the room is around 350 sft only. I think your web description is wrong.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times over a 3 year period. It is a nice, secure, convenient location. The room sizes are nice and the sofa bed makes it easy to accomodate friends. The rooms with the kitchenette have an apartment-like feel. The problem is the lack of attention to upkeep and cleaning.The extra blanket in the closet had a three inch hole.The mesh trash can had what looked like hardened vomit on the exterior side that had been turned to face the wall. There was an accumulation of dust and two french fries under the bathroom sink cabinet. The white grout used between the bathroom floor tiles was grimy and dirty. When I arrived, the dishes and flatwear were in the dishwasher, rather than in put away in the cabinets. I did not know if they were clean or dirty. I did not check to see, put them away, or use them. When paying good money to stay in a hotel, I expect the place to be clean, neat, and in order when I get there.

I always like staying at the Hyatt House whenever I visit the city. The staff are friendly and very accomodating. They make each visit feel personable. They even know my name as soon as I walk through the door and allow me to check in early. My room is extremely comfortable and this hotel will be my forever go to.

Very nice and convenient for our small family. Breakfast is really good in the morning, and the staff is quite friendly. Our only complaint was the hallways smelling like weed .
