Everything was great accept the woman at the service desk charged both my debit card and my travel companion's card for the full price of the room when we checked in. It was supposed to be split half and half. When we checked out my partner's full amount had been refunded back to his bank and I was stuck with the full amount. For the location, I thought it was overpriced. A free breakfast would have made the difference, and maybe a bottle of water. There was a keurig machine, and I used a flashlight to check the water level. Well I saw a hair floating in there! So I went to the lobby to ask where I could get a coffee. I was told it was complimentary in the breakfast bar. We were with a group for a wedding and others had left the hotel to go get a coffee. I wish we had been told upon check-in that it was available without getting the buffet. I have dietary issues and could not have the majority of the buffet. I was told ordering from the menu wasn’t an option. I didn’t want to pay $19 for a piece of fruit so we checked out early. This was an office park, very nice grounds, but not much in the immediate area as far as restaurants or things to do. The hotel was nicely decorated but I expected more…..

I would probably stay at this property again if I was in the area. The staff at the front desk and breakfast spot were delightful. The hotel appeared to be in a safe area and was very easy access on/off interstate. My only negative is the room cleanliness could have been improved. The coffee area had sugar spilt all over it and there was a child’s ball beside the sliding door. This told me that wiping down surfaces and vacuuming may not have been a priority.

Nice stay in Canonsburg

Very nice property. Rooms spacious, clean, comfortable bed. Great hot water in shower. Responsive thermostat for heat and a/c. Microwave and mini refrigerator. Coffee service with powder AND liquid creamer. Nice restaurant connected to the hotel. plenty of free parking. Only negative is no complimentary breakfast. Did not survey the buffet but it costs $19 Staff was very nice. I would gladly stay here again!
