The Hotel itself was clean, not overly noisy. We were on the 5th floor. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast fare. Stayed 2 nights. Neighborhood is not the best area. Many homeless, some hanging around the immediate area of the hotel. No one bothered us, though. Found a couple of places to eat nearby that were OK. (Taco place reasonable and good!) One other restaurant had a 3 hour wait list. (Nah!) Paid to park at the hotel ($16 per day) Driving in Pittsburgh is insane. Hotel not too far from sports arenas, but I would not try walking through that neighborhood. saw a couple of folks having "disputes" openly on the sidewalks nearby.

The property itself was not too bad the area around it a little scary walking to PNC Park was okay but a lot of homeless and scary people on the way and not really any place close by to eat had to have a pizza delivered to 45 minutes and the pizza is not very good and extremely expensive which is not the hotels fault but just thought I'd mention it

Overall, knowing that the rates were higher due to the events going on over the weekend and the location, this stay was less than stellar. From the outside the hotel looks like they recently went through a refurb. Once inside, they tried to direct your attention away the need to fix several bumps and bruises with decorations. Our room, please take the time to hit it with a Magic Eraser or something to get rid of the day to day suitcase marks. Housekeeping does the basics of the high touch-points period. Both bed side lamps light bulbs were burnt out. There was no towel for the shower, and the shower door strip was torn half way down just hanging there. Call us picky, but this is just easy upkeep that needs be done, instead of the maintenance guy chatting with the less than excited front desk agent. It was overpriced for a less than moderate hotel.

I liked that the room was clean and a good size. The toilet paper holder was missing or broken though which was a pain. The breakfast was one of the worst I have had and I have been to 5 different hotels so far this year.

Comfort Inn. Could be better.

The room was very nice. Clean seemed relatively new. It was hard to tell who worked there behind the desk. Looks like the common areas are not being maintained very well. Quite a few people coming in and out of the hotel wreaked of marijuana. The breakfast was hearty and nice.
