Convenience to PPG arena is fantastic. However, the rooms need some attention. There were not outlets near the bed. The USB by the desk was broken. The swing out makeup mirror in the bathroom was half missing. And when showering, the soap dispensers fell off the wall. They were just attached with silicone. The breakfast option is just a buffet which seemed overpriced at $16.00. We passed and went out for brunch. The staff was friendly though. $178 was probably a little high for what we got.

The lobby and staff were amazing. As for our room, it should have been cleaner and more updated for the price we paid. The bathroom had other people’s hair, mold, rust, and dust on places like the tissue holder, outlets, and shelves. There were no bags in the garbages. The carpet was filled with stains and the air conditioners were extremely loud. Also, there weren’t any usb ports available to charge phones. It was a shame because the stay was on the pricier side for what was offered.

Definitely an older hotel albeit the lobby and bar seem upgraded. Our room was spacious but a bit "sketchy." Mildew in the tub, stains on the carpet and the interior was dated. However, we knew space was limited due to the homecoming and Steelers games so we stayed. The most troubling part of the stay was that our hotel door didn't lock! When we arrived, we had some trouble with the door but chalked it up to the key. The next morning when we came back from getting coffee, keys weren't working but the door seemed loose. We pushed a little and the lock just popped open. Thinking it was a fluke, my sister and I went inside, closed the door and repeatedly tried to see if it would open without a key -IT DID! We were shocked and unnerved to know we were in a room that didn't lock. We reported it to management and it seems the door was repaired on the second night. The hotel is convenient but there is work to be done for safety and cleanliness.

Fine location. Room was worn looking and small. Carpets in hall were stained. Shower had mold in the corners. Breakfast buffet was what many hotels provide for free - but charged $16. Pool closed at 9pm. Not the standard I am used to from Cambria.

We were in town for a concert at PPG Arena. The hotel is right next door so location was perfect. The employees seemed friendly and anxious to help. It's a bit of an older property and our shower had some thick white calk to plug what must have been a potential leak but aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and the concert.
