We were visiting family who live in the area. So glad we chose to stay here at the Springhill Suites by Marriott Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria! The front desk staff were very courteous, helpful and pleasant. I like that fact that someone is always available at the front desk. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were very good and loved the options. So appreciate the easy parking and close to the hotel entrance. Many businesses close by to shop, dine or visit. We will be staying here again during our next visit to Peoria!

I only stayed 1 night even though paid for 3 nights. The manager said he would refund my last 2 nights if I left by 11am on Aug 22, which I did. Hotels.com attempted to contact the manager multiple times with no luck so I am out the refund and also what I paid for a new hotel room for the 22nd and 23rd of August.

The hotel itself was nice but it is surrounded by busy parking lot on all sides so not a calming place if you want to use the pool. Inside is very nice and if you are looking for a comfortable room comfortable bed and very clean and well maintained place to stay it is more comfortable than many higher priced places. If you want a place to relax by the pool the exterior is too busy.

The hotel is very run down. The bathtub desperately needed to be replaced with rust and stains all over. Breakfast was meh. The shower curtain was dirty with conditioner? The smoke detector in my room started chirping at 5am. Guy came to replace batteries but that wasn’t the problem. So he left it in the room and it went off again at 6am. Needless to say, it was not a good night’s sleep.

The staff around the hotel was great, professional, and friendly! The room was cleanish but you can tell there was some water damage in there. It smelled very much like mildew. And it was very muggy in there. We did leave with a cold from there. Not sure if there’s mold under the carpet or walls. The breakfast was great.
