My stay

It was as described. Basic lodgings, clean, perfect, for two people and an overnight stay. The price was great. Location is not for sight seeing, there is no where to go out walking to see Phoenix. It was very quiet even though it is along a freeway corridor. There was no coffee maker in the room

The property is old and dirty, located next to freeway and not well-insulated; the noise made it difficult to sleep. The room didn’t have a bathroom vanity, instead there was a pedestal sink outside bathroom. Staff was cordial.

Not enough luggage racks. Asked for an additional deposit of $50 after I booked the room ahead and paid in advance. Put us in a room all the way down a very long hall almost to the end. We are elderly and don’t walk well anymore. Beds were too high off the floor! Won’t stay there again.

There is a lot of loitering in the front lobby with minimal supervision. The front desk could not handle the check in volume at any time of day and the attitudes were poor.

Overall this is a good choice, some draw backs for location and ease of access. Being right off I17 it's nice for travelers but not easy to get in and out from Bell Rd.
