Convenient to shopping, family. Common rooms were well decorated and clean. Room could use some update. tile in bathroom was chipped and dingy looking. bedding looked unfinished. carpet was dull and worn. Although the room appeared to be clean it was dull and uninviting.

We enjoyed the cleanliness and how accessible everything was. We were close to everything, only 15 min away from the raceway which was awesome for us. Would stay here again for next vacation :)

Close to my hospital. 3 black long hairs in sheets when i turned the bed down, I'm platinum blonde. Checking in. Was told there were no roller racks to bring your luggage in from car. We left at 06:15 am, li and behold a rack had returned.

Not what I expected
So some people gave the hotel really good reviews so I went off of that. That was a mistake. The hotel looks and smells like the '70s. The carpet is old and ripped, there's paint chipping off the walls, the AC stinks it needs to be cleaned. Me and my daughter got separate rooms both were accessible. I have two disabled children in the room with me. Our shower is supposed to be roll in for easy wheelchair access, but what happens when you take a shower is that the water doesn't go down the drain because they built it on a slope so all the water rolls out to the rest of the bathroom and goes all the way to the toilet. We used all of our towels trying to clean up the excess water. I am really eco-friendly so I was pretty disappointed at the construction of the shower. If an older person was to take a shower, they would slip and break their neck. There needs to be another drain in the middle of the floor or the slope needs to be fixed. We slipped on the floor and thank God nobody was hurt really bad.

Red Lion is a great, affordable option in Goodyear (Phoenix). The hotel staff was friendly and professional. The hotel room was clean and well stocked with towels, extra blankets and 4 pillows per bed, which was a huge plus for me! AC worked well. Close to everything! Definitely will be back.
