Too much drama and communication issues

I booked my reservation because it said pet friendly. On the day of my stay i received a check in email. I entered my license, paid a deposit and a pet fee. I received a confirm email that said No Pets!!! I tried to call the hotel for an hour and the number was out of service. I messages hotels.com and they could get thru either. They had to send an email. An hour later the hotel called me from the same number and asked why i wanted to cancel. They said there is a misunderstanding and they do take pets. I stated i did not want shenanigans and refund everything. Then i was disconnected. I tried to call back and the number didn't work. I tried a second time and it pickedup and went to voice mail. Too much drama and communication issues...

Cockroaches and bugs

There were roaches on the counter when I woke up there were bugs, crawling all my stuff there was mold in the bathtub, and the people upstairs were up all night walking around

Our room smelled of cigarette smoke and old grease. We bought some Febreze to make it better. The room was very dark, as the lights kept turning off when we weren't moving around. Couldn't open our black drapes because we were on level 1 with lots of activity right outside our unit. It was loud with furniture being moved in the unit above, people shouting, arguments and street people just outside the property.

My family and I felt unsafe when we arrived to the property. Our check in was at 4pm, we arrived around 4:30pm and no one was in the front office. I had to call the number in the door in order to get my check in information when the directions stated to go to the front office. Additionally, the smell in our building was horrendous. The apartment itself was clean, however our bathroom sick was clogged. We saw security and they informed us that there was a fentanyl smell coming from the building across from us. My family, with children under the age of 5, left the property and didn’t even stay the night.

Wouldn't do it again.

Dirty Halls and Laundry facilities. Roaches all over, Marijane smell filling the halls ALL hours of the day and night. Front door not locking allowing homeless population to enter whenever. Security patrol but only one on duty. Linen stained with housekeeping once a week. It doesn't stop there, that's just the tip of the iceburg.

didn’t get the door code or unit number when i was told i would, when i called the office they said they’d be open until 10pm. when i got there around 6 they were closed and we had to wait outside in a NOT safe area for their after hours office to answer and give me my information. once we got inside there was a couple standing at the very top of the stairs watching us, with the woman digging through a bag of syringes. when we finally got to our room the walls were dirty, crumbs on surfaces, mold, red (blood?) stains, white stains, and live, as well as smashed roaches everywhere. maybe half of the lights in the unit worked, and it reeked of cigarettes. one of the windows didn’t have a screen and the screen was just tossed behind the tv table. there was also repeated knocking on our door around 5am. we left after the first night as it is genuinely unlivable.
