I had high hopes after seeing the ratings. The sofa bed is the worst we have ever had and we do this option for all of our hotel stays. All you feel are springs. The staff gave us extra blankets to try to cushion the mattress. The location is convenient if you are going to a sporting event or the convention center, an easy walk. Be aware if you happen to be out of the hotel when a sporting event ends, you will not be able to get to the hotel by car until after the crowds clear, we learned this the hard way, after a very long day we were headed back to the hotel and we couldn’t get there because all the streets were blocked, the cops told us we had to wait and drive around. The hotel was clean, had free breakfast and convenient.

TV did not work in the room. Had to have someone come and manually turn it on. Then, when you turned it off, it wouldn’t turn back on. Room to our hotel didn’t close all the way on its own. Shower door did not close all the way, so it made the floor and wet and the water pressure was very light. Seems like a newer hotel, but with so many issues in our room, it just made it an unenjoyable experience. It was also a downside that the only parking available is valet.

Fan ran all night!! Asked at the front desk the next day and they asked maintenance only to be told the fans NEVER turn off!! The sliding bathroom door threatened to smash your fingers every time you used it!!! No stove in the “kitchen”. Service guarantee is hidden behind the coffee in the lobby. Will definitely not be returning to this property next year!!

Accused of breaking TV

The stay was actually perfect! It was super, super close to Chase Field which is where I was going for the Cubs game. Being able to text to get my car out of valet was so easy. That was the first time at any hotel that I had that experience. However, after I left, that's where the problem began. I was charged $1,086 in addition to the $1,225 for the room and valet. When I called, I was told that I broke the TV. What?! When I asked what was wrong with the TV, I was told that the maid hit the power button and the TV wouldn't turn on. I was outraged to say the least! Luckily I got refunded but that was after I had to send an email and talk to the general manager as well as call my bank to file a dispute. Ridiculous! The TV was glitchy. It went off for no reason one time, and I had to turn it back on. The screen turned black while I was watching a show, and I thought it was going to power off again, but it didn't. I was told by the general manager that those things should immediately be reported otherwise the guest staying there is held responsible. I didn't think to report it, because the problems fixed themselves. Also I never thought I would be charged for a malfunctioning TV, which could be due to it being old. The TV was not a 4G/5G with clear picture, so I should have never been charged over $1,000 to replace it. Also I was charged, and I received no explanation. Why did I get my security deposit back if I broke the TV? Worried about future hotel stays now.

We were there for a cheer event at the convention center and this was the perfect location. It was super convenient and the property was clean. Our room was very large and felt very homey. My sisters favorite part was how soft the pillows were. We were extremely satisfied.

Wonderful location! Steps from restaurants and the basketball arena. Quiet at night, well equipped room, clean. Valet was expensive but well run, could come and go as many times as you liked. Nice free breakfast!
