The front desk representative, Joy, was so kind. We requested a quiet room and she fulfilled. When we asked about plastic or wire hangers that we could take to transport our wedding attire, she brought in her own the next day to give us! Also another representative, Ramona, was double duty front desk and in the dining room. She was a wealth of information about the area and provided recommendations and tips. Would highly recommend this property. The pool area was absolutely amazing. Clean and very welcomed after traveling all day.

First, I am fully taking into account that this is a Double Tree in Gilbert AZ, not a major hotel in a metro center. That said: The front desk staff were on point. Truly great service - if management reads this, give them a raise. The other staff were a mixed bag. We were there for a company meeting and no one knew where the HDMI cable was to attach to the meeting room’s TV. Only at the end of the final day did someone come back to the property who knew where it was. The cleaning staff still hadn’t gotten to my room by about 6PM on the first full day of my stay. So I just swapped some towels with them and said thanks (and gave them a tip - their job is no fun, TIP THEM). The hotel itself was clean, especially the common areas like the lobby, grill / bar and workout room. The hotel undergoing remodeling and it needs it. There are some very noticeable (large) patches on the walls as well as some marks from carts that some Simple Green, a towel, and maybe a quick brush with some paint would have made disappear. The chair in my room was a cool, retro (looking?) one… but it was missing an armrest. And I confirmed with a colleague, the lights from the parking lot seep through the blinds and ended up projecting onto my (and their) ceiling. It wasn’t excessively bright, but it definitely meant my room wasn’t as dark as I would have wished. There is an (outdoor, in AZ???) mall a couple of blocks away. I walked there within 20 minutes (in the evening, when it was only 90 :-D ).

Major issues, booked a larger room with king bed and corner tub to help with travel pain, prepaid 5 days in advance. Got there , " we have no kings" then " we have no tubs" " we have no larger rooms" " Yes there was painting on each floor " sink did not drain, air conditioner thumped loudly all nite. no coffee downstairs, no breakfast. We have asthma , staying in a freshly painted space was not ok. Elevator taped off and dropclothed etc. Website does not reflect any of this, no heads up for health issues etc. No offer to mitigate issues. Just 4 word responses . Absolutely worst experience and we've stayed all across usa. Never felt so poorly treated. We are Hilton honors... and chose this because we can count on the Doubletree. or could, apparently not anymore

The staff was friendly however scarce... No instructions where to go to find the elevator to get to our room. Breakfast was supposed to be included when our stay, went down for breakfast. The girl told us that there is no complimentary breakfast and didn't provide any more information so we left. The place is under construction as they are remodeling.However, the remodeling work looks poorly done. The room felt cold, looks wise...had no appeal.

No where did it say on the Hilton app or on Expedia that the hotel was undergoing renovations. Lots of noise and workers in and out. Would have been nice to know during booking process.

The room was clean and great for the weekend trip that we needed visiting family. But they FALSE ADVERTISE their supposed “free” breakfast. They tried telling us that it was only a credit for two people when we had booked a room for FOUR people. How does that make sense. The staff also thought it was ridiculous. They said that they are sorry but that’s what they did for COVID. If you are coming hoping to get a fairly priced room and breakfast I would go somewhere else there’s better options. Oh and get this if you go over your credit they will charge you more what a scam. At least just be truthful about what you advertise.
