Allen was very helpful. There was a discrepancy between what the hotel believed I had reserved, and what they had set aside for my family. It was resolved by Allen and we had a great stay. The breakfast was well stocked. We enjoyed everything.

I planned to give a pretty good review. It was a little dated but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately my son forgot $38 under the phone when we checked out. We called about three hours later. Housekeeping had not turned it in and the person who answered the phone could not find it. Yes it’s his fault he left it, but that doesn’t mean an employee should have felt free to steal it.

My one night experience was great, the front desk staff were all terrific, the room was beautiful, roomy and clean. The only negative I had was that it was incredibly noisy - I was on the 4th floor, facing the busy street and highway and I suspect the Phoenix area is the capital of needlessly noisy vehicles. Not at all the fault of the hotel, just realize that the windows can't keep out the traffic noise.

The only criticism I have is related to a safety issue in our bathroom. The tub did not have safety grab bars and my wife almost slipped. We were told that only some rooms had them and next time we should request a room that has them. So, if you have a concern about safety, ask ahead of time.

This was a very nice hotel with staff that was very helpful in every way. The only point of dissatisfaction was the fact that my room, room 225, was so close to the very busy street with loud traffic noise until late at night. The room had an extra window that faced the street that increased the noise. I would have asked for another room but was so tired I didn’t want to deal with that. This is the only reason I gave a 4 star rating instead of 5.

Incorrect Description
This was my worst stay in Arizona. According to the hotel, Hotels.com has the incorrect descriptions for their available rooms. We selected a spacious room with a king bed and pull out couch, but only received a king bed in a compact room. Called the front desk to inquire about this switch up but was told that it was the fault of Hotels.com and they couldn’t do anything about it. We asked for a cot or to be switch but they didn’t have anything available. The next day, the hotel was without power for 8 hours and did not receive the complimentary breakfast. I will not book from this location or from this third party hotel company.

The room had a funky smell to it that smacked you in the face right when you walked in the door, almost like Indian food. But you got used to it after a few minutes and it was fine. Housekeeping staff was fantastic, front desk was fantastic. Overall a really great stay.

Power was out for several hours of my stay at no fault of the property. They went out of the way to make sure my dog and i were safe and cared for. The bed was pretty soft for a hotel bed
