I liked the huge park across the street where I was able to take my pup for a walk. I was allowed to check in about 45 minutes early without charge. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room's entrance door looked like it had been kicked in at some point since there was a gap towards the bottom where you could see the outside and the towel bar had been ripped off and badly glued to the wall. Another thing I didn't care for is their pet fee of $50 per pet/per night. It was a bit excessive. I understand had it been a $50 flat fee (for the entire stay) for carpet cleaning in case there was a puppy accident, but not per pet/per night. Makes no sense to me.

I would not pay $200 for this property. The park next to the property is the best thing about this resort. The room was small and the bathroom area was very narrow. The TV stand was broken and barely holding the TV up. The TV screen was broken showing lines on the screen. Staplers or nails are sticking out of the carpet which made me wear shoes all the time. Poor soundproof. I was able to hear the conversation next door.

The door to the room had been pushed in at the top from forced entry. I checked out immediately after arrival. I prepaid so it is on me but the full reservation was charged even thought the terms say a no show or last minute cancelation is only subject to a 1 day charge. Can't always trust the pictures or score. Expedia got me should have stuck to the Marriott app.

I loved the affordability of this older gem in Scottsdale! They only recently now accept dogs, but with a high daily rate instead of a special deposit. I was able to negotiate to comparable hotels. We enjoyed the very large public park right outside the door…that runs for several city blocks. It has playgrounds, a bike path, duck ponds, a skate park, and a frisbee golf course. Fry’s grocery store is across the street, to stock the mini fridge in the room…since there is only free coffee available each morning. The hot tub and pool were open in February. Very little traffic and noise on the dead end street. Will stay here again!

Amazing hotel

I will give this hotel, the highest waiting possible I did like the room a lot. The bed is very comfortable. The location is fantastic parking. It’s easy. I would love to stay there again.
