I tried the Sonder Hotel, which I had never heard of, because most of the hotels in Philadelphia were booked. The hotel was great. The apartment was tastefully decorated, kitchen fully stocked, clean, bright and very comfortable bed. It was easy to make the reservation and access the room. My only complaint is the couch in the living room was very uncomfortable. I also had some trouble watching network TV on the Roku TV. I will definitely stay at a Sonder Hotel again.

Honestly the room was amazing inside, clean, the communication was awesome and very good things. We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday evening and honestly it was like Woodstock going on Saturday night. So many crazy things till like 4 AM. At one point there was a drum line walking down the street. One of the bigger parties I’ve seen. Sunday night wasn’t as bad but still extremely noisy

Loved having a washer and dryer in the room and the kitchen was nice. Three issues were, wobbly toilet, creaking bathtub, and bedroom carpet is due for replacement.

Excellent property in a beautiful older building. Full apartment layout with a stacked kitchen, washer and dryer and beautiful premium condition. The in house coffee is better than most coffee shops, dishes are new and clean. Has dishwasher and everything you could possibly need during a stay. You could cook full meals in these units if you felt like it so it exceeds most apartment or dorm type places. I cannot say enough good things. Check in and check out are both a breeze. I recommend downloading the app to have the smoothest experience. The security code works just fine so as long as you follow check in directions you are all good. Friendly helpful staff by day. Could not tell if they had staff at night but there was a security guard which is comforting. Will stay with them again!

This property is in the BEST possible location walkable to many sites & restaurants. This was perfect for a week convention w washer and dryer. It’s a little old but mattress was in good condition & it had everything we needed.

LOVED the option of having an apartment style so I could work from home during the day. Internet was great. It could have felt a little cleaner, and the AC was weird. But the kitchen was really well stocked with supplies which was awesome! Biggest complaint was it felt like they were nickel and diming us on the early check-in and the lobby amenities were nonexistent. If the room is ready, please just let us check in lol.

The building has some cool amenities and is very updated and clean. The apartment was beautiful upon first entry but then… we realized it was empty. The living room had a couch but no chair - which created some weird open space that was fine but felt unfinished. The bedroom was kind of silly actually because there was nowhere to set our luggage… no luggage caddy, no dresser, just floor space. We stayed in a pretty sketchy place in Baltimore the night prior to chucking in at Sonder and even they had luggage caddies AND a dresser/counter top to set our luggage. I won’t set it on the bed because those little wheels have seen some pretty gross things I’m sure rolling through airports and the streets, etc. I included some pictures of what our bedroom looked like - felt like we just moved into our first apartment and hadn’t purchased any furniture yet. Also, we love Roku- have it at our house BUT in “guest mode” we weren’t able to log into some of our apps and we didn’t have the pin to get out of guest mode, so that was frustrating. Also there wasn’t regular TV which was disappointing because hotels usually always have a nice little TV option and with the Roku only it wasn’t quite the same. I would probably stay there again BUT our particular unit needs a dresser or luggage caddy.

We arrived late at first night and next morning our toilet was clogged. Called the U.S. customer service number and got the answer “the problem will be solved in 12 hours.” So we asked for changing room and she said this problem is fixable so room change is not allowed. At least a staff showed up in half hour to fix. He was very nice but off-site customer service was terrible, they need a better way for both internal and external communication. In the end, It’s not a big deal but while I hearing the customer service response, I felt trip was ruined.

The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of the downtown area. It was easy to walk to the major shopping center, Rettenhouse Terminal market and othe shops. When we arrived on Saturday night, the area was crowded with people hanging out and clubbing. It was definitely a lot going on. The room accommodation was great. The room was clean, and there was extra bedding for the sofa bed. The kitchen area was stocked with basic items. Since we were right downtown, the noise could be heard in the bedroom late into the night on Saturday. It was a little quieter by Monday and Tuesday nights. Checking out was easy on the app, and using the luggage storage after checkout was easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I would also try the other locations in the future.

I liked the location of the property. It is just in the city center and convenient to get everywhere you want. Check-in and check-out procedures are simple and don't require any special attention. A huge advantage is keyless access to your room. I like a mobile-first approach. However, I was upset with the cleanliness. I saw hair everywhere, and it made me sad. I like clean properties. Seems like they don't pay much attention to cleaning.
