It was exciting to stay in a building of historical architectural significance. Nice art deco details in the rooms. The king bed is lovely though surprisingly short. Good thing my 6'3" husband didn't come along because he'd be flush to the head board! The hotel is a block away from Reading Terminal and there are many very nice restaurants and pubs withing walking distance.

Loew’s Hotel - Philly

Room was excellent, bright, roomy, modern, clean and looked newly decorated. Hotel was central and within walking distance to all major tourist attractions. Lots of conferences and meetings going on during our stay - so the lounge/bar area was packed and noisy in the evenings - so there was no area where you could just sit for a quiet drink. We had breakfast one morning in the hotel’s restaurant which was very nice with a wide selection of food. Would stay there again.

I have stayed at 2 Lorws locations in Florida and this is comparable to a motel. When i walked in there was vomit in the lobby (and was there for hours even after I told staff it was there) walked in to our room the carpet was damp, the paint was peeling off the walls ans there was blood on the ceiling after the beding was dirty. The night manager kindly told us we would not be charged for the 2 nights I booked and that was a lie stay away from this hotel!!!!!

Centrally located near historical buildings, city center, transportation, food, shopping, etc... Hotel was clean and had convenient restaurant, coffee shop and bar located within it. Only downside was massive amount of people staying there for conferences and weddings at the time. They would all congregate in the lobby until they took off for their events, which made it feel a little claustrophobic as not a huge space. But overall, rooms were great and spacious, nice views of the city.

I surprised my wife for her birthday with an overnight stay after dinner. They allowed a friend of my mind to set up the room before my wife arrived providing each linens and we were able to have a late checkout the next day.

Very cool hotel in the heart of downtown Philadelphia. It is located in an old bank building, so it had some really cool features. We had a very spacious room with a lovely view. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to the subway and walkable to many restaurants and bars. I would stay here again.
