The Hampton Inn in Willow Grove is our go to hotel in Philadelphia. The staff is extremely polite and friendly, the breakfast is generous, and the room is quiet and immaculate.

Decided to grab a room during a power outage. Room was ok. Needs updating. There was clearly some type of damage to the door b/c it had bolts holding the top latch together and it didn’t close fully. Room was dated but it was acceptable. Air unit needs to be cleaned and filters need to be changed. Television service in the room went dead for most of the night. Front desk had no answers or explanation.

Wasn't happy with the hotel. The AC in the room was set to 68 degrees and I couldn't adjust it to make it warmer. Had to turn it off. Beds were comfortable and a large bathroom was decent. Last day of my stay, I had a problem with the hot water in shower. There was one day that no one came in to clean and I had to go to front desk to ask for clean towels. Breakfast was a disaster over the weekend. They were out of eggs, bacon, milk, and cream cheese. I had to go to McDonald's for breakfast. The next day, they were out of eggs, potatoes, and bagels. Surprisingly, I saw a family with a dog in the dining section and their dog had a big plate of eggs, potatoes, and sausage. There has to be a better way of keeping the food for hotel guests only. I spoke to the General Manager and to their credit, he put in for a refund for one day and Hotel.com took care of the rest. I will not return to this property.

Funeral for Family

Nice located hotel close to the turnpike. About a 45 minute drive from the airport. Room was comfortable but the hallways were freezing. Rooms were cleaned daily but the shower was poorly designed. The shower knob could only be reached from the back and you would get wet with cold water in order to adjust the temp.

I was put in a room with no HOT WATER. Ran the shower fir q0 minutes. LUKE WARM WATER. AFTER GETTING IN SHOWER IT TURNED COLD. TOLD ATTENDANT AND HE SAID THERE WAS NUMEROUS CONPLAINTS. I ASKED WHY PUT ME IN A ROOM WITH PROBLEMS.
