Negatives: Staff was not overly friendly. Valet/Bellstaff stood around and watched as your struggle with doors and luggage. Sat down to eat a donut at the bar in the morning and drink my coffee and was told I could not do that. I was the only one sitting at the bar of 15 seats at the time. Positives: Location and rooms are nice, breakfast place in hotel was very good.

Great stay in downtown Philly

Stayed several nights there while my wife was hospitalized post-surgery at Jefferson University Hospital (2 blocks away), then 2 more nights with my wife after she was released. Very comfortable room, friendly staff, great food in the restaurant, well-equipped fitness center—highly recommend the Canopy by Hilton!

Great hotel. Very clean with hospitable staff. Rooms are sizable. Only problem was the loud air conditioning. When it recalibrates, it’s so loud it’s like an airplane is taking off. Other than that, I wouldn’t mind staying in this hotel again.
