As a repeat visitor, (5th stay since 2016) it would be nice to be acknowledged. Some properties will give a discount code for repeat visitors. Love the breakfast and social gathering, very nice touch! Always enjoy my stays. Thanks!

The staff at the hotel were so kind and helpful. Shalena was so welcoming when we came in every evening. She even came outside to help us when she saw us struggling with our luggage. And Danielle went over and above to ensure my problem was solved. The third person who was super nice, I didn’t catch his name. He worked day shift, and helped us get a huge pile of belongings to the car. If there was something I wish could be fixed it would be the keycard reader for the room we stayed in on the 7th floor. We had to get a new key every time we entered. At least the elevator was fast

The hotel is good. The staff is great, they have light breakfast (bagels, yogurts, danish, etc) and happy hours in the evening (drink tickets provided each night). The rooms are small, but we were only staying two nights, so that was okay. Im docking a star only because the walls are *very very* thin. You will hear your neighbors ahould they be loud for any reason.

We arrived late and left the next day to find another hotel. The staff was very nice, but the facility itself was very run down, small, and felt unsafe. It lacked the charm we were expecting. When you shut the door at night and can see light frame the door from the hallway it seems unsafe. You can also hear the other renters and one sounded very ill (hacking and coughing) It was not worth the cost and we ended up loosing money as we switched hotels. We found better accommodations for less and in a better part of Philly.

Nice location. Easy access to all the major sites downtown. Enjoyed the happy hour social in the lounge. That was a pleasant surprise. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking sucks downtown but the arrangement with a near by parking lot was convenient.

For the value, location, complimetary breakfast and wine and cheese, this place is great for a night or two. The rooms are on the smaller side but the beds are very comfortable. At night, it's loud outside, so expect that and you're good.

Everything about this hotel is old and the “ lobby” if you can call it that looks like what my wife thinks a French bordello must look like. There have been no upgrades to this property in more than 50 years, and it shows. The staff is friendly and helpful but that doesn’t make up for all the other problems.

While this hotel is mediocre to low in every aspect except for cleanliness, my problem is above all with their contract with Expedia. I made a reservation through Expedia and apparently Expedia took my money but did not pay it in its entirety to the hotel. So I'm in the hotel after a long flight, trying to check in, and the hotel staff did not allow me because Expedia's payment did not go through. I had to call Expedia customer service, stay on phone for an hour and then there was nothing, no resolution, asking me to pay the extra amount that hotel was charging so they'd pay me back. I still have an open complaint case with Expedia, but the fact that the hotel also wouldn't let me check in due to their problem with their work partner (Expedia) was ridiculous. Ultimately, I just paid the extra amount to check in. The building is very old and so is everything there. The carpets are stained but clean, so are the bedding. It is clean, and I appreciated very much the cleanliness. The continental breakfast was a joke! I went to WholeFoods nearby to buy something for breakfast. Location wise, this hotel is in a very good area of Philly close to some to the most well-known and hype restaurants and is convenient for walking etc.
