This is one of the best Best Western properties Ive ever stayed at. The room was in great condition and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good with malted waffles and sausage gravy over biscuits. We had a great experience.

Front desk staff was very unfriendly when checking in. Ignoring you as you walk in and just stand there waiting to be recognized. Finally was asked, are you checking in? I need an ID and credit card. Very blunt and rude. Will not stay again.

The staff were kind and professional. The room we had was outdated, in bad repair, and dingy. There was also an ant infestation. Housekeeping came and got rid of some of them. Sheets were stained. Shower door handle was broken. The hotel is in a nice location, but it needs some serious TLC.

Beautiful courtyard out side . Clean inside. You can watch the sailboats sail by from your window. Beautiful beach near by with lots of white sand, Petoskey stones ,and a big lighthouse.

We had an overall positive experience at this hotel. We LOVED the automatic Folgers coffee machine that was available all day everyday and you get to choose your strength of coffee which tasted great compared to other hotels we stayed in. We also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The Continental breakfast offering was descent as well. The issues we had are 2-fold. 1) The courtyard picture that was shown on the website when I booked the trip showed the water as part of the view. You cannot see the water at ground level from the bushes and was a bit deceiving 2) On our 3rd and final morning my husband and I were up early at 6am in the breakfast area just to have our coffee and enjoy the morning. I wanted to turn on the TV and asked the employee who was setting up breakfast if he knew where the remote was and he offered the rudest response because I interrupted him while he was setting up for breakfast and stated that we should not even be there and the TV does not go until until 7am. We got up and relocated. Hotel management may want to address as it totally ruined our last day at this hotel.
