I booked a room here that said “pet friendly”. It wasn’t on purpose. That was the only option. I was checked in by a video feed of a real person being projected on a wall that was talking to me remotely from another location. She asked if I had a pet with me. I said no. She checked me into a room that smelled so badly of cat urine that my family could not physically stay in the room. I NEVER ask to change rooms. This is the first time in my life. But we had to. It was terrible. The new room was just fine. But when I came back to ask “the wall lady” if we could please switch rooms she told me “you booked the pet room.” Yuck.

A nice little spot. Clean and comfortable. Just to close to 101. Very busy, very loud and poor sound proofing. Fine for one night but i would not enjoy a longer stay.

First the check in was via remote access, interface was with a computer screen and a person at the other end. It was difficult communicating with the individulas who were not fully English proficient. The first room we were checked into had a broken AC, we were moved to another room. In the second room the refrigerator did not cool work and our milk spoiled. Even thought we had the do not disturb sign on our door for our 4 night stay, someone came into our room each day while we were our and change the setting on the air conditioner.

We stay here all the time. I'm used to seeing workers at the front desk. What happens if there's an incident that needs immediate attention? I'd rather notify a person that's on premises. Other than that it's not fancy but a good value. It's also close enough to places like Lagunitas and Brewster's. Cafe Bellini next door is good as well.

Poor customer service -

Hotel does not have any desk staff to check-in or help with any services. You are met with a television screen in an empty office and a man/woman on the screen who is in Columbia South America. I had trouble getting room keys that worked and found that to be frustrating. Also when I wanted to use the laundry room it was locked and required a key. Again you have to go to the television screen and make the request. Problem is that there is no human to hand you the key, and the maintenance and housekeeping staff wandering around outside do not speak English. Very poor customer service when you have to rely on a face on a screen who is 4000 miles away.

Disability strips in shower needed

The rooms were clean. Was nice . My mom did fall in the shower. They need antislip shower. It was very slipperso she got hurt. My moms 83 years old. It was very upsetting. Shes very sore and bruised. Its also loud people coming and going was load. We dont hate it but wont be back due to the fall

Breakfast was excellent and the woman in the breakfast room has outstanding customer service skills - what a wonderful asset. The room was very clean but on the cool side. Heating unit was noisy. Very clean and well equiped.
