Comfortable and clean facility with friendly and helpful staff. Chose it because it had a restaurant, onsite parking and proximity to major highways.
Unfortunately let down by the restaurant and kitchen. Very long wait for meals, despite restaurant only being 1/3 capacity. Robot waiter, although cute, took meals to incorrect table and there was a delay for the human server to arrive and serve the meals.
3 out of 4 of our meals arrived at the table barely warm and had to be sent back. ‘Medium rare’ steak requested-served ‘well done’ and appeared to be a cheaper cut than described on the menu.
At breakfast the next morning, ordered avocado on toast , avocado was underripe and very discoloured, as was also, the requested replacement. Did not eat in the restaurant again during our 3 day stay.
Also, the phones in our rooms were difficult to use, and did not go through to Reception when dialled.
