Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Likes :
- location of the hotel was very convenient and walking distance from the eateries and tourist spots
- breakfast was good but same menu and initially get bored if eat more than 2 days
Dislikes :
- parking is not provided by the hotel but given by a third party that cost AUD30 per day but the shutter closes at 10pm
- hotel was being renovated and our rooms were just opposite the renovating rooms. Hence, the smell of paint and noise was disturbing. Hotel staff never advised us on this
- water was not provided in the hotel rooms and we were told to pay AUD5 per small bottle of mineral water
- housekeeping was below zero. Bedsheets were not changed but just neatly put up every time. Toilets and bathroom was not clean thoroughly
- had to check out early at 1.30am. Had advised the hotel staff a day ahead about the early breakfast arrangements but the hotel staff never got back to us and on the check out time, they refused to give a refund stating that booking was made via Expedia
Very disappointed with the whole booking
