My experience was not good at La Quinta because, I was offered a room that the door card recognition was not working properly the door wasn't opening properly. I was going in my room the door wouldn't open, I got in the room and I couldn't get out and had to call the reception for them to let me out, after a while I left the door open to see if they would fix it, and they had to move me to a different room.

All La Quinta’s are not HOTELS!
We were very disappointed! I have always considered La Quinta a HOTEL.
This was a Days Inn with a coat of paint. This was a motel because there were doors on the outside of the building to enter the rooms.
Let me explain the difference between a hotel and a motel. A motel has doors on the outside to enter the room. A hotel is where you enter the foyer, check-in, and go down the hallway to enter your room. It is a security issue!
We stated the La Quinta in Burleson/Fort Worth a few days ago. We stayed four nights. As usual, we were very happy with our accommodations.
I will have to be very careful before I ever book at a La Quinta again due to the fact that Wyndham does not know the difference between a hotel and a motel. It appears that Wyndham has downgraded as they have purchased Days Inn which has gone downhill and now they are putting the La Quinta name on the old Days Inn motels.
The only photo of the exterior of the building is the front. Therefore, it does not show the balcony with exterior entrances to each room.
Hotel deadbolt lock did not work. Hotel has a lack of security and nearby mobil home occupants have access to the hotel and parking lots. Hotel needs to be more secure. I will not stay or recommend this property until major upgrades are done.
We didn't like that the card to open the door room didn't work, it was raining and cold also I didn't like that the room are outside the building it feel not to safe, when were leaving in the morning took us some time to open the door from inside , and also around the building looks like no body keep it clean a lot of cigarettes butts.
