We stayed in the Wantilan Deluxe Suite with ocean view and highly recommend this room. The view from our room and overall resort is amazing and worth the price. Rooms are comfortable. Staff are friendly. Pools are pleasant and place is very clean. Location is perfect- being able to walk to the beach. We would stay again next time we are in Bali. Some things to consider, but wasn’t a bit issue for us. Food and drinks are expensive on site, which is somewhat understandable due to the view. There is no TV or kettle in the room. At times, there are monkeys passing through the resort and would sometimes come on our balcony. We were just told to not leave anything outside and they were often moved along by staff.

Property was beautiful, on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food prices, and services were ridiculously overpriced for the area. We live in Los Angeles right on the ocean, and the food/alcohol prices were equivalent to the hyper inflated prices in our area. But worse because the serving sizes were smaller than our local restaurants and lower quality. If you ordered a glass of white wine for example, they would pour it into a smaller than normal white wine glass and only fill it half way. Very frustrating and felt like we were being taken advantage of, considering the prices of food and services at other hotels and restaurants in the area. Finally, on our last day, we ordered breakfast right before being taken to the airport and both my son and I got food poisoning. We know it was the breakfast because it was our first meal of the day and did not eat anything else before getting violently sick. We both ordered the eggs and suspect that was the culprit. If you are going to inflate your prices to insulting levels, your kitchen better be able to practice the highest level of food handling integrity. Will not recommend this property and will not be returning. The only reason we gave any stars for this hotel is because the property itself was beautiful and most of the staff were wonderful. As for the management, I would give them zero stars for insulting their customers.

We had an amazing stay at Suarga! Exceptional staff, incredible food, the most amazing views and unbelievable architecture. There are some small things that make the hotel not what I would label as a full five star, but the above listed things make up for it. Some notes: there is no hot water or coffee in the room and breakfast/ coffeee does not begin until 7:30am which is way too late in my book. The AC is not very cold but they did bring us a fan that helped a ton. The rooms are small without anywhere to sit besides the bed but there was room to put a small couch or chair so that would be another recommendation. Outdoor bathrooms are so gorgeous but there are monkeys so if you have to go in the middle of the night, it’s an adventure. Haha goes with the territory. All in all, the staff and property and food made it lovely and despite the things lacking with the room that we are used to at a 5 star, we will stay here again!

The Suarga has fantastic views and being in an ocean view villa ensured that we made the most of them. The Ulin villa was delightful and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. As the facilities are very minimal our 4 night stay was long enough. The staff were friendly and helpful and attended to our needs.

Probably the nicest hotel in Uluwatu. I would come back to Bali just to stay here again. Amazing rooms, pools, staff/service, ambiance, food, amenities, etc. Came to Bali with my wife for our honeymoon and Pim & the rest of the staff went above & beyond to make sure we had a memorable time.

This property is absolutely amazing!! We stayed in ulin 11 and it was so beautiful with a great view. I was a little hesitant about our stay since I had read some reviews that weren’t so good but once we got there we were in heaven. The view is just incredible and sunsets by the pool are a must. The food was great! Yes you have to pay for water at the restaurant but you have plenty of free water in the room so order a delicious cocktail at dinner instead. The staff couldn’t be nicer. They jumped to our every need. It’s within walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shopping. We stayed in one night to catch the love entertainment and the singer was next level! We hated to leave. Highly recommend this property.

Excellent location, plenty of dining options within walking distance. Padang Padang beach less than one minute walk. Stunning views from pool area and restaurant/bar, perfect location for sunsets. We were in Ulin room with a sea view. Room spacious, amazing air conditioned bed. However no other air conditioning in room. Large bathroom however lighting not that good at night. Advised not to leave belongings in bathroom and keep all doors secure - we didn’t have any problems with monkeys or any other creatures in our room. We would definitely stay here again, would highly recommend.

I stayed in a Muso room. The room and property are very well maintained and looked after. However, the walls were paper thin. At 3am last night some guests arrived next door to me. They were very loud for over an hour… The staff were excellent and the view from the pool was sublime. This was my second visit to Suarga, if I stayed there again, I wouldn’t choose a Muso room.

1) Wildlife: Expect bugs and animals, as the hotel is in a natural habitat with monkeys, ants, and other insects. However, the rooms are well-maintained, cleaned twice daily, and sprayed with eco-friendly repellent. During breakfast, ants can swarm tables and the buffet, so eat quickly. 2) Open Bathroom: The bathrooms have an open design, allowing a view of the stars while you shower. Though there’s a chance of encountering bugs, we never did. Store toiletries in the room to prevent monkeys from taking them. Lighting is dim but upon request they can install additional lights. 3) The Rooms: We stayed in the Muso Pentroom, which was well air-conditioned with comfortable beds. The room is minimalistic, without a TV or desk, so it's not ideal for remote work. 4) The Property: The pools and views are stunning, almost justifying the overall cost of SGD 2,000 for 6 nights. 5) **Food:** Generally overpriced, but there are multiple dining options nearby. Verdict: 7.5/10 - it is at the end of the day an eco-friendly resort so don’t expect to be pampered. It’s a bit pricier than some of the hotels I’ve stayed at around the world BUT the pool and the view made up for it.
