2nd stay at the hotel but won’t come back

Arrived at the hotel for our 2nd stay and was put in a room which was extremely dated with a small bslcony over looking a busy main road which of course was smelly and noisey went and asked if we could move and was offered another room at additional cost but seemed like a big problem to the staff ! We paid , took the room but felt like we’d put the staff out . Hotel room nice and over looked the pool but the pool small and loses the sun around 2pm due to the high rise building . Also very few sun beds and not comfortable at all . Staff around the pool/restaurant very friendly and helpful but most of the reception staff ignorant and never even acknowledged us as we left and came back to the hotel , busy on their phones ( most not all of them ) Where I’ve stayed before in Thailand staff have been extremely friendly and welcoming . Would say if you’re looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a busy location but handy for a brilliant street market and 10 mins walk to the beech then this is average .

I was very surprised about the bathroom. Rain shower, sitting shower, very unexpected as i had lower expectations. So happy to book here will do it again when I have the chance.

Blue Ocean Resort is located in the center of Patong within walking distance of Patong Beach, Jungleceylon shopping mall and Bangla street. It is also in a very noisy and dirty location due to tourist masses in the area. The hotel is very clean, staff very friendly and room quite comfortable. It lacks renovation of more luxurious hotels but it remains very well kept. The central pool is very nicely designed with water falls creating a nice atmosphere though it can get very hot at times as it faces in wards. All in all a decent economical choice for living inside Patong.

Only a short walk from hotel to beach and within walking distance off shops . Market and night market very close. Hotel breakfast had a good selection of food to eat . Nice swimming pool with bar close by . Naybe it could do with more lounges around pool to lay on apart from that a great hotel

This hotel was in a great location not too far from the beach and just a block away from the Marlin Market which had great food and shopping. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice balconies and a big bathroom with a rain shower that I didn’t expect. It was a great stay for an affordable price.

The pool was fantasic big clean rooms Resturrant and beverages prices a bit over board and when it was time to leave i could not produce the paper work on where im quite shall i left a 1000 baht deposit for card access to room so they never returned it ??

Nice and clean.

I payed for a room with a wy over the pool but got a room headed to the street whith a lots of weiers and haevy trafic. After 2 days I got the room I order. It is a nice hotel and frendly and helpful people working here. It is difficult to cross the street if you want to go to the beach. I have stayd at the hotel in two weeks and decided to stay two more. 😊

Really enjoyed the Blue Ocean Resort.

I found the Blue Ocean Resort to be a very good. It seemed to have an "Old World Charm" to it which I found very enjoyable. The staff were wonderful - could't do enough for me. It is an old hotel but very well maintained. The swimming pool was exceptional - not a broken tile to be seen. And the water was in pristine condition every day.

The room was ok, was spacious with good air conditioning and a beautiful bathroom. It smelled a little humid but it is because of the humidity in Thailand. The property was very well located near Patong beach and a market. It has a nice swimming pool. The amenities were poor. No razor, no hyssop, no toothbrush, no comb, the shampoo wasn’t good. When we did the check-out the receptionist wasn’t kind at all. He was watching a game and seemed like we were bothering him. Besides of those things I would recommemd Blue Ocean

We had adjoining pool access rooms and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We couldn’t have asked for more and the shower was awesome. Quiet pool and bar area close by, comfy rooms and adequate breakfast. Fantastic value in pretty good location. Market across the road for food and Bangla rd a 10 min walk. We will definitely be back to book out pool access rooms

Fantastic value stay

After the completion of our trip and staying at 4 different hotels, this hotel was by far the best. For the value and comfort this was a fantastic place to stay, although we did stay in adjoining pool access rooms which made it so much better. Shower was amazing, best I’ve ever had. Staff were great, breakfast ok, kids loved the welcome drinks by the pool. Location was convenient and quiet. We will definitely be staying here again. Even tried canceling our last 2 nights accommodation so we could come back here but no availability
